You delete them in the same way you would delete any folder on your computer.

The 'default-release' name relates to the 'profile name' folder. As each has a time and date stamp applied to the name, this implies they are backups.

It looks like you have something performing scheduled backups of your 'default-release' profile name folder.

Do you have the addon called 'ImportExportTools NG' installed ? If yes:

  • Menu icon > Addons and Themes
  • Select 'Extensions'
  • Look for 'ImportExportTools NG' in list and click on the 3 dot icon and select 'Manage'
  • click on the spanner/wrench icon
  • click on the tab called 'Backup Scheduling'
  • Have you selected the checkbox called 'Enable' ?
  • If you do not want to do scheduled backup' uncheck that 'Enable' checkbox.
  • OR if you do want scheduled backups but not every day or not everytime you exit then change the 'Frequency' to a suitable option.
  • then click on 'OK'

Thanks Toad, TBird is still somewhat of a mystery to me in many respects. It was set to 'daily' but I changed it to 7 days. That should help a lot. I am having difficulty transferring my calendar to my desktop PC, but I'll create a new post for that. P.
