Firefox v 98.2.0 Android 10

When viewing an image in landscape position, when I tap and drag up on the screen to enter full screen mode a horizontal bar appears at the bottom of the screen (not the Android navigation bar). This doesn't happen when using DuckGo or Chrome. How do I get rid of the bar at the bottom of the screen?

Hi

The image that you have attached appears to be unrelated to the issue that you are requesting support with.

Are you able to attach an image of what you are seeing?

Sorry, to clarify:

When viewing an online image that's larger than the screen and while holding the phone in landscape position, when I tap and drag up on the screen to hide the address bar, a blank, horizontal bar appears at the bottom of the screen (not the Android navigation bar).

This doesn't happen when using DuckGo or Chrome.

Example (can be any image that's larger than the screen):

I didn't post an attachment, a sample image can be viewed here:

Ok, I just realized that Firefox resizes the image to fit within the screen. To reproduce this problem you have to zoom-in on the image first, then drag up on the screen to hide the address bar and reveal the "mystery bar" at the bottom of the screen.

Thank you for the clarification - that helps.

If you mean the grey bar in the centre, that changes length based on the level of zoom - looks like a feature more than an issue.

I'm not talking about the horizontal scroll bar. What I'm referring to isn't really even a "bar" per se, it's just a horizontal area of unused space at the bottom of the screen.

Apparently this is one of those annoying little oddities that I'll have to get used to.

Does the bar in question move when scroll from left to right?
