When I turn on my computer and select firefox the browser opens with my email website. It will fill in my username and password a couple of times and then next time it asks for my username and password. I checked on the firefox help site and it says I need to be synched. I then went through the pain of synching my android tablet and then the next couple of times I checked my email firefox would enter my username and password. Then the next time it would ask me for my username and password. I checked with password help and it said I could import my passwords from another browser so I imported them from edge. If I have to keep doing that I will just uninstall firefox and use edge because it remembers my usernames and passwords.

Are you saying the password data is not being filled in, or the passwords were removed?

Hi Fred, I can't make it any plainer than I already have. Firefox fills in my username and password for a couple of times. The next time I open my browser on firefox it doesn't fill in my username and password so I have to either import from edge or pull out my password book and reenter my username and password. I have synched and checked all the right boxes in firefox passwords and it still won't enter my username and password on the 3rd time I open my firefox browser which opens with my email.

One user had a similar problem. They solved the problem by removing all of that website's data from the Password Manager and manually entering the login data.

Hi Fred, I have done all you suggested and this afternoon I opened my firefox browser and it opened with my email website and again asked me for my username and password because firefox had again dropped all my usernames and passwords. In firefox under privacy and security and passwords I then imported my usernames and passwords from edge. Then later after I had shut down my computer and again opened my browser with my email it again asked me for my username and password. I am going to delete firefox and use edge because it remembers my usernames and passwords.

What about the other members of the sync? Do they also lose the login data?

I don't ever use firefox on the other device. I only synched it with my PC because I thought I had to do that in order for firefox to remember my usernames and passwords. I have uninstalled all firefox apps from my computer and am now using edge exclusively. It remembers my usernames and passwords like firefox used to. Thanks for your time Fred.
