I have 3 email addresses for family members thru aol/ Verizon. I had to get a new server password from them a few weeks ago, now whenever I try to send email it always asks for that accounts password. I have updated my SMTP settings to save password. For some reason it only saves the last smtp setting for all accounts. So if I send from [email protected] when my son sends from [email protected] the aolsux info is in his SMTP settings. Thanks for your help, and no, they are not our real email addresses

TB can default to one SMTP server, but that is hurting you. Create separate SMTP servers for each account to eliminate that problem. Tools>Account Settings: Highlight account name and in right pane down near bottom of screen is SMTP server setting. Click 'edit' and create new one for the two that have no explicit server.

It's not clear what is happening. Is it that you have three separate email accounts on your PC, each with its own SMTP server description? Did you get three new passwords? Please give more info. Thanks.

You must use an app password in TB instead of the account password:

I’m sorry, yes all 3 accounts had to get new App passwords from AOL. TB only saves one in the SMTP settings area. So if I get Aolsux@… working, when SpongeBob sends, he has to change the smtp settings to his info and app password. Then I have to change it back to aolsux info.
