Since installing via update, then deleting Firefox and installing it again, in Version 96 I get the following error on all sites I attempt to access through links:

What does this error mean and how can I fix it. It seems to prevent any videos from loading or playing and the sites also from loading if they video links.

You can try to disable DNS over HTTPS.

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then try to select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.
