I'm finally moving to Windows 10 with a new computer. I want to keep my Thunderbird address book, folders of old emails (very important!), and (if possible) settings from my old Windows 7 computer.

After installing Thunderbird on my new computer, do I need to do anything more than copy to the new (10) computer the final profile from my old (7) computer?

Advice will be much appreciated!

Copy the Thunderbird folder on the W7 computer, delete the Thunderbird folder on the W10 computer, if it exists, and paste in the W7 folder in the same location.

On Windows, close TB, press Windows key+R, type thunderbird.exe -p

Can you select a profile and see your old info when TB starts?
