Why do some websites say that I use adblock?
This is a minor issue that has been puzzling me for a while now. When I visit some websites, I get a message that I should disable my adblock. However, I don't have any adblock installed. The funny thing is that I only get the message on a very small number of websites, all of them for major newspapers. To make it more confusing, I can visit other newspapers websites without getting an adblock message. I only get the message on maybe 2-4 websites in total, why does this happen?

Disable tracking protection in normal browsing Windows when using those specific sites, they are detecting Tracking Protection's filter lists as an ad-blocker.

Do you have Tracking Protection enabled for normal windows? This can be a cause of that.
Yes, I always have Tracking Protection enabled on all websites.
Try to disable tracking on that website.

Alright, thanks for the help!
Firefox shows a shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case content is blocked by Tracking Protection, click the shield icon for more information.
