General Info: Using Windows Vista. Firefox is up to date.

I've seen a few questions about how to get contacts from Chrome Gmail into Firefox Gmail, but no solutions that worked. Has a solution that works been verified?

Regarding the Gmail folders: I have used this in Chrome to manage me emails. However when I start Gmail in Firefox, it simply shows thousands of emails in the inbox, and noe of the folders previously used. Is there a fix?

Thanks for the response. You are correct that all browsers should see the same email account. My problem turned out to be using the wrong Google account (operator error). I have multiple accounts and picked the wrong one when logging in via Firefox. I can now see my contact lists and have my email folders (labels) working.

The Gmail site is the same Gmail site in every browser, but you may have installed extensions in Chrome that are modifying your view of the site.

Could you check your Chrome and see what Gmail-related extension you have installed, if any? I think it's "3-bar" menu button > More Tools > Extensions.

That would help in figuring out whether you can match what they do with Firefox add-ons.
