Hello.

I updated to version 45.0 this afternoon, and now the signature and Quicktext drop-down boxes are gone. Previously, these appeared when composing a message, and enabled you to select which signature to use or which Quicktext email to insert. My default signature is still showing up when I compose a new message, but I now have no ability to change to other signatures like I could before.

Thank you!

Check with the developer of these two add ons to see when they are going to update their software to work with the new Thunderbird version.

Hello, Airmail.

That is a good tip for the Quicktext Add-on. But for the signature, that was not an add-on (as far as I know). It was a feature native to Thunderbird.

A single signature yes. If you have the ability to switch them then you added something like Signature Switch.

I really have never touched that functionality (the only add-on I ever added was Quicktext). (I also checked my Add-ons list and there's nothing there related to signatures.) For years, Firefox has just always had that signature drop-down box. Now there are drop-down lists for "Variables" and "Other" where the signature drop-down used to be.

Update: I just went to the Quicktext site and it looks like a Signature drop-down might be a part of Quicktext. I never knew that. I will email the developer to find out when Quicktext will be updated and hopefully that will resolve both of my issues.

Thank you, Airmail!
