Synchronization not working in latest Firefox for Android versions. In order to sync I used version 29 on Android 4.3. Everything is fine. Now I upgraded Android to 5.0 Lollipop and old Firefox version could not be used. I set Firefox Sync in latest Firefox for Android (v. 38). I got a message that account is valid. In accounts it is stated that synchronization was sucessfully performed, but no bookmarks synchronized at all. The situation is the same with latest Firefox for Android versions on my tablet with Android 4.

My Firefox Sync account is valid, because everything is correct with synchronization between my notebooks with Firefox for Windows.

How to make synchronization working in Firefox on Android?

Thank you!

Is there a warning that says you need "Auto Sync" when you go to Android Settings > Accounts > Firefox Sync?

Else I would check in the Sync settings that Bookmarks are checked.

To jump start a new sync session on one of the devices, it is also possible to disconnect the account and connect again.

One other limit is that Firefox for Android may only have a capacity for 5k bookmarks. (The health report may tell you the total in your profile Firefox Health Report - understand your Android browser performance )
