Every time I hide the add-ons bar, it re-appears on startup. How do I make it stop?

Well, It's just like it says in the question title. I don't want to see the add-on bar at the bottom (or at all, for that matter), but I want to keep my add-ons. Every time I open Firefox, there it is, and I right click and uncheck the "add-on bar" option. But it keeps showing up every time I restart Firefox. How can I make it stop reappearing?

In order to switch to another persona that you had previously installed, do the following:

  1. Go to Tools and click Add-ons (or click the Firefox button at the top left and click Add-ons).
  2. Switch to the Appearance tab. You should find your previously used personas in the list.
  3. Find the one you want to use and click the Enable button.

To uninstall the other ones you can click the Remove button on them and they'll be uninstalled instantly.

Do you have extensions installed that place items or display data on the Add-ons bar?

If that is the case then Firefox may show the Add-ons bar.

You can also check for problems with the localstore.rdf file.
