Firefox will not allow me to open my Gmail contacts list from an individual terminal

When using my Gmail account, Firefox can open and delete all mail. However, i am unable to open my contacts list, when I try to do this a message of "loading..." appears at the top of the page and the screen freezes which disables my ability to click on any other link or even log off the page. I know people have had previous problems when using Gmail through Firefox but I cannot find any help or advice on how to deal with the issues

When using my Gmail account, Firefox can open and delete all mail. However, i am unable to open my contacts list, when I try to do this a message of "loading..." appears at the top of the page and the screen freezes which disables my ability to click on any other link or even log off the page. This is a problem with a specific website I would strongly suggest you contact Gmail directly. I have seen that the Skype addon could cause this problem you may want to uninstall it by following these instructions: Disable or remove Add-ons.
