My Firefox Browser keeps "crashing" or freezing up. My computer stops working and the apps don't work. Nothing responds. when I restart it only takes a minute or 2 till it happens again. this began slowly 2-3 weeks ago but now it is daily. Every time I turn on my computer.

For the 1st time, today I got a message box titled Mozilla Crash Reporter: Firefox had a problem and crashed. Tell Mozilla so they can fix it. I did run a McAfee computer scan but this didn't help. I'm really surprised I was able to complete and send you this message.

TY,

You can find the report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page.

  • click the "All crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.

Alternately, you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.
