Thunderbird email . UID FETCH failed. cannot open emails . I am an old lady and not very technical

I use Thunderbird for emails on windows 10 desk top Keep getting UID FETCH Failed. tells me the number of emails but takes a very long time to display the list Then unable top open email Please do not baffle me with technical details thnak you

Okay, it's a technical problem with the email provider's server software. This is not a problem with your computer or with Thunderbird. The email provider's software makes email available on Thunderbird and it sometimes has problems reading the mail. If this persists, you might want to notify the email provider.
