I downloaded the new FF and now my text is in blue and red, I can't see the controls on YouTube, and the general look of pages sucks. Any suggestions re: restoring the "old" look? Thanks

I was able to solve the problem by going to FF~Preferences~Colors, then "Over ride system colors-Never" (From a suggestion from another Poster in response to a similar question I asked re: making my Text black again). Everything looks OK now. Thanks anyway for your reply.

If there is still a problem,

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Hi kenmeer, it looks like you are running Firefox on MacOS.

As mentioned in the release notes, "Firefox [91] now automatically enables High Contrast Mode when "Increase Contrast" is checked on MacOS."

Is it possible you have that setting?

If so, please try one or both of these two options:

(1) Turn off the system-level setting. This appears to be the most effective workaround.

(2) Disable High Contrast mode in Firefox. See: Disable high contrast mode in Firefox.

For both changes, you might need to Quit Firefox and start it up again to see the normal display.

Any difference?
