keep receiving authentication error using correct password for google mail
i changed my password for my google email now thunderbird keeps saying authentication error even though i am using the correct sign in email account and new password

When you entered the new password in TB, did the OAuth authentication browser window appear to authenticate the credentials, but then display the error? Did you remove the old passwords from Options/Security in TB?
