- How to clear the Firefox cache {web link}
If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?
While you are in safe mode;
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Thanks for the help FredMcD, unfortunately still misbehaving Link to the live map page below. https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/home/centerx:-3.5/centery:53.6/zoom:10
The link works okay for me, but I don't have an account there. Try rebooting the computer.
Thanks again, yes have rebooted by to no avail, the page will function correctly except searching for a vessel and when I try to log in, it keeps returning to the 'Log in', but if I select any other page, it will then say 'You are now logged in', return back to live map, and back to asking to be logged in (even an occasional 'Are you still there' thrown at you. Without been logged in the page will not auto refresh and access to additional information is withheld from you.
I have downloaded two other browsers to see if issue is there but it work correctly with the other browsers. I could use the others but firefox is my preferred browser.
Thanks again for your time.
Remove History For One Site
Open the History Manager <Control><Shift> H. In the search bar, enter the name of the site. Right-click on one of the listings and select Forget About This Site. This should remove all information, including any passwords / settings.
Now that partially worked in as far as when I tried to log in, nothing, then went to 'contact us ' page it logged in, returned back to live map and it remained logged in, but move off and back on to site, gone again.
I think you where on to something , but it just being stubborn !
Try contacting their support.
