I go to options to change my home page and firefox won't let me. I click on 'current page' and nothing happens

Solution choisie

This can happen if you have installed an extension that takes over the Home and/or New Tab page. There is usually a notice on the "Options/Preferences -> Home" page what extension is involved. In such a case you need to check the Options/Preferences of this extension to set the Home and New Tab pages.
