I can't install Firefox because my company's group policy prohibits 7-zip installs. Old problem, same issue, not solved.

Question is self-explanatory. This question was asked in a thread about a year ago (it's closed now), but the solutions provided don't work. When I download from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ I still get stopped by Group Policy prohibiting 7-Zip. Is there a Firefox installation file that truly does not use zipped files (7-Zip)?

Thanks. I'm not looking for a portable version, however. Is there no standard installed version of Firefox that does not require 7-Zip to run?

First part here is it's the company policy they don't let users installs software and that can only be done by the IT staff. Companies prohibit users installs for a reason and that is Security and malware infections. Did you ask the IT depart about this software before attempting this? Remember company computers are their property and they control what installs and runs on it. I thinking talking to them will help here.
