when I try to open pdf download in firefox it opens up the printer data conversion page for printer and then crashes will not let me read pdf

When I try to open a pdf download file in firefox it automatically opens up the data conversion page of pixma maxify cannon and then crashes. So basically I don't get to read pdf and have no Idea why it's even using Cannon in first place. Please advise thanks
