Tabs are displayed all the time, but when you get to (for me) ten open tabs (which depends upon the width of your display), the tab bar is full and over flows. Than a "drop-marker button? appears that you can click to see all your open tabs.

And if that is what you want to change, use the "code" - or live with it until you locate an extension that has the features that you desire.

Overall, there are limits to being friendly and if you want move beyond those limits you'll learn how to used the code way of doing modifying Firefox.

My son pointed out that a simple pressing of the F11 function key solved the problem. No code.

By the way saying " have to live with it is not a good way to help a customer resolve their problem; Drop that phrase. I worked as a tech for the government for 30 years and I know that when you assist a person you should never be negative. It does not help your company's image and doesn't help your customer. I have worked with many in the government who are not able to understand the most basic technical tools, like word for an example, and definitely writing code would not solve their problem if they had to do it. So a resolution that uses code would help them.

Furthermore you did not explain my problem accurately. You should have asked me to clarify, maybe use some additional questions for me to answer.

I have been using FF for years and never had that problem you explained with the TABs. So your solution was not a solution because you didn't take the time to clarify with me the issue.

You were running Firefox in Full Screen mode as the cause of not seeing the tab bar and the Windows task bar?

Note that in Full Screen mode you can hover the mouse to the top and right-click empty area on the tab bar to have the toolbars visible all that time (right-click: Show/Hide Toolbars).
