The only time I have trouble is when the torrent file is bad. But you say the file works in other browsers.
When I tried one of the magnets, the first time I got several pop-ups. I have add-ons that close those for me. The second time I tried the same magnet, my torrent program came up with the torrent data.
This symptom occurs every time and for all torrents. All torrent will work in IE. The only possible clue may be with a Firefox update. I said possible because I do not have any time reference but it did start around the same time frame
Odd, I've never been blocked. I think my security settings are normal.

I appreciate the response from the-edmeister as it gave me food-for-thought but there is no warning banners of any type. Only what I have stated
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).
Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
