Links that used to open in new tab aren't.
So, a minute ago this worked. If I clicked certain links on a certain site they opened in new tabs. These were links to the comment pages on reddit. I was not using any Tab add-ons to accomplish this, they just opened in new tabs. On a second computer that I have, which has a shared sync profile with this one, this still works. The only thing that happened was that my cat stepped on the keyboard when I stepped away for a moment.
I have tried everything I can think of short of uninstalling and reinstalling FF. Safe mode, comparing all normal options and about :config options with the PC that works, restarting the laptop, clearing cache, cookies, site preferences, etc. Nothing works. No keys are stuck. It just refuses. I can still right-click and choose to open in new Tab, but I'd rather not have to do this. I'm about to uninstall and reinstall, but don't really want to.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix?
Thanks

OK, just figured this out. It was actually a larger issue and caused by a setting she somehow managed to change on an add-on. That add-on is NoScript, and I just noticed that suddenly it was blocking scripts from reddit.com. I'm guessing the cat stepped on the Context Menu button and Mouse buttons and the cursor just happened to line up with the NoScript icon and the forbid reddit.com option on the menu. I can think of no other way that got changed. I'll leave this up in case someone else has this problem and it's NoScript that is causing the problem. I wouldn't have thought of it had I not noticed the icon looking different.
