What do you mean by "multi-hop cycle"? Can you elaborate?

You should upgrade to Firefox 11, as the version you are running has plenty of known security holes, as well as several bugs and issues which have been fixed in the newer versions.

Try to start Firefox in Safe mode. This mode disables all extensions, user customizations, hardware acceleration, etc. temporarily for diagnostic and troubleshooting. If Firefox works find in Safe Mode, then this is likely an add-on issue. Restart Firefox in normal mode, then type "About:addons" (without the quotes) in the address bar. Disable your extensions one by one, restarting Firefox between each one, until you find the trouble maker. Once you do, you can disable that add-on and report the issue to that add-on's developer.

A few other basic trouble shooting things you can try is this: Run all Windows Updates, install all needed service packs, etc.

Update your graphics driver (Firefox uses your graphics card for some rendering, and an out of date graphics card driver can cause problems. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-upgrade-my-graphics-drivers.

Update all your plugins (Flash, Java, etc.): http://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/.

Download and Install MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, run a full Scan. http://www.malwarebytes.org/. This helps check that there are no viruses on your computer causing issues. You can uninstall this program after you clean off any infections.

That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.

What is the exact error message you are getting?

This is not a computer bug issue as it came up the same on all of my macs. The actual problem seems to be browser issues. In my case Safari. I just deleted and replaced Safari with Firefox and the problem is gone completely.

This multi-hop issue can also be caused by using as bookmark to go to a specific page.
If you do or did that then try to access the site via the main (home) page and follow the current links to go to the mail page.

You may have to remove the currently used bookmark(s) to go to the mail and try to create a new bookmark (there may be POST data saved with it). If you keep having problems then you have to stop using a bookmark to go to the mail and use the longer route via the Yahoo! home page.

This crap just started yesterday. It is total BS. Why can't they fix it. I am so sick and tired of new "security" that screws up my computer and makes it unusable!!!
