Not the pw, just the first line. I am not saving pw, but at one point I typed the sign-on incorrectly and now it displays both the right one and the wrong one every time I enter the first letter.

If you are using the automatic form fill, can you not just remove the information for that form and re-enter it again?

Here's what happens. I go to a site like, say, gmail. for username, I write alfonse, then I hit tab and do the pw. I've told Firefox not to remember the pw because more than one person uses this machine. One time, in a hurry, I thought I'd hit the tab but hadn't and typed my pw on the end of the username: alfonse#####. So now when I sign in, once I write a, it doesn't automatically fill in the rest of the line. It gives me two choices: alfonse or alfonse#####. Needless to say, I don't want the mistake with my pw coming up. I want to know how to eliminate that, but still have Firefox autofill the correct sign-on when I start writing it. I'm not sure what you mean by "automatic fill form." Selecting the unwanted autofill, highlighting it and hitting delete doesn't get rid of it for the next time.
