Does Firefox have a global screen resolution adjustment?

I recently installed Firefox 3.6 and found that it renders webpages at a smaller size than IE does. I understand the CTL (+) or (-) function, but that has to be applied to every webpage separately (and it doesn't work that well on some pages). Is there a global resolution adjustment in this browser? I couldn't find it. Please help.

I have researched this issue a bit and learned that beginning with IE6, MS provided scaling in the browser to accomodate the new higher resolution screens then coming on the scene. This seems to work quite well and is applied globally, ie not manually, page by page.

Details: my (max) screen resolution is 1680 x 1050. I have an ATI Radeon X300, with two std resolutions, 96 dpi and 120 dpi; higher DPIs can be set in custom fashion. Currently, I'm using 120 dpi. Since I still use IE, I would prefer not to change the laptop's Display resolution.
