Can you start it, after you end the firefox.exe process in the task manager?

unusable will not startup from desktop shortcut at all!,shows in task manager?,have uninstalled it 6 times,installed previous versions ,tried new profile,whats going on???,come on sort it out,used to be the best browser now unusable,sometimes i fi clich the mouse very fast 12 times it might open?

PLEASE SOLVE THIS PROBLEM WITH MOZILLA FIREFOX!!!!!!!!

Try this: Uninstall Firefox. Delete the C:\\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\ folder. Click on the start button, then "Run". Type %TEMP% and press Enter. That should open Windows Explorer in your Windows TEMP folder. Select everything in your TEMP folder, and delete it. Then try installing Firefox again, using the instructions at How to install Firefox on Windows.

If that doesn't work, I think there is probably a security program on your computer (like an anti-virus scanner) interfering.

thanks chris for the reply back,i have solved the massive problem i have had with MF 3.6.3 it ws COMODO FREE FIREWALL i had a sneaking suspicion all a long it could have been that but was not sure?,my pc had slowed down since installing comodo i am pretty sure of that,there were lags and pauses ect ect on general usage of the pc even though cpu usage was ok?,so maybe if many pc users that have comodo firewall installed they might like to try a change to another firewall and see if it helps,i went back to OUTPOST FREE FIREWALL which i had for ages without ANY problems whatsoever.
