I had my Mozilla homepage set to where a new page would open when I clicked on one of my shortcuts. Now its just opening the page right on my homepage instead of a new tab. I can't figure out how to fix this on my laptop. ALSO- my "Recent Activity" is displaying on my homepage and I don't want that. How do I stop that?

Hello,

To open shortcuts in a new tab instead of the current homepage, you can change a Firefox setting. Here's what you need to do:

Open Firefox on your laptop. Click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) located at the top-right corner of the browser window. From the dropdown menu, select "Options." In the Options tab, click on the "Home" panel on the left. Under the "New Windows and Tabs" section, you'll find a dropdown menu next to "Homepage and new windows." Select "Firefox Home (Default)" from the options. Close the Options tab. By setting the homepage to "Firefox Home (Default)," your shortcuts will open in new tabs instead of replacing the current homepage.

Regarding the "Recent Activity" display on your homepage, you can customize it or remove it altogether. Here's how:

Open Firefox and navigate to the Firefox homepage. Look for the "Recent Activity" section on the page. Click on the three-dot menu icon located at the top-right corner of the "Recent Activity" section. From the dropdown menu, you can select options like "Remove Section" to remove the "Recent Activity" display entirely. Alternatively, you can click on "Customize" to choose specific items you want to see or hide in the "Recent Activity" section. I hope this helps! If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to ask.
