why firefox can be installed without administrative privilege? windows 10 UAC prompts for admin credentials and if you click on No it will still install.
Windows 10 Enterprise UAC prompts for admin credentials and if you click on No it will still install thus bypassing UAC requirement. How do we change this so Firefox and other programs cannot bypass UAC. This is a violation of our security policy.

Could you ask Microsoft about this? I can't imagine Firefox has a secret way to bypass strict UAC or everyone would be using it.

It is well documented that Firefox does this and has been since version 12. However, the reason why and how to stop it is not well documented.

Could you give us a link to this documentation ?
See what Joseph Ban (moderator on the Microsoft support forum) posted on this subject :
All I could find is that it would take a special script to bypass the UAC :

Note that Firefox will ask for UAC permission for the Mozilla Maintenance Service to install updates in the background if this service isn't installed yet.
