Everything on my email servers website (cruzio.com) works except for the email log-in, which just doesn't respond at all. I am able, however, to log into the same Cruzio email account on a Safari browser, which seems to indicate that the problem is located with my Firefox browser, as Cruzio Support has suggested. They said to try downloading a new Firefox browser. Is that an easy thing to do (I have no technical skills besides following orders clearly spelled out)? I am not in a geographical place where I can easily access computer services, so if I mess things up I haven't much recourse. If I run into problems, would I have support help from you?

Cruzio Support first suggested I empty out cookies, which I did and the email worked, once. Then it reverted to standstill as before. Is that a line to follow up on? If so, what would I do?

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
