is it possible to install FF outside the windows user folder?
My work-pc (windows 7) has a roaming profile. I am local admin. The maximum profile size of my user account is only 100mb. The first thing I did when I got a fresh OS was trying to install FF. That worked fine, but after a few day my profile exceeded the 100 mb's. FF amounted to more than 50 mb's of data. Mainly in the hidden app-data folders.
So here my question. Is it possible to do a custom install, with a minimum amount of data in my win7 user account?
Chosen solution
Simplest solution may be to use Firefox Portable instead.

- you could find sync useful Use Sync to share your Firefox bookmarks, passwords and more with Firefox for mobile
IIRC development of Sync that has ceased, it will in due course be deprecated and replaced with an alternative.

Cool, your rely lead me to (in dutch):
After a clean install of FF I pointed the profile to a different location. The size of the FF profile after first usage is about 20 mb. Which is a lot on the max size of a 100 of my user account!
Happy that it works.
