URL link does not open exmaple: mhtml:{E300FCB1-8A12xxxxxx-xxx-xxx}mid://00000737/1x-usc:http://www.xyz.co.jp/text/nb20121220a5.html
My default browser is set to Firefox 17.0.1 and opening a link in e-mail is not a problem except one e-mail from newspaper. When I put cursor on the link it is something like mhtml:{E300FCB1-8A12xxxxxx-xxx-xxx}mid://00000737/1x-usc:http://www.xyz.co.jp/text/nb20121220a5.html When I click the new window open in MS IE9 browser and say, not valid address. In the above url link for privacy I have just changed some part though the structure is same.

Of that only this part is a URL:
http://www.xyz.co.jp/text/nb20121220a5.html
That and this are URIs:
mid://00000737/1x-usc
Do as I did: highlight the portion of text that represents a URL, copy to clipboard, open new tab, select location bar, paste, click go or press enter/return
Alternatively search AMO, addons.mozilla.org, for extensions matching one of:
linkify text link
Hello,
Thank you for detailed reply.
You are right I do use copy paste the url in text format, usually after copying I use run command Paste/Enter. Rather using clipboard or going to web browser and that work fine and quick.
I checked your AMO extensions I found two AMO Admin Assistant and AMO Modifications. I do not know if I should use it?
Thank you
Content embedded in emails may only work if you use an e-mail program (e.g. Thunderbird) to open such a e-mail and not in a simple web browser like Firefox that doesn't know about such protocols.
See this extension about MHT files.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the answer. Now I got it. Also I already got Mozilla Archive Format 2.0.8 installed it last night.
Thank you
