I have no audio output from Firefox.
I am using Windows 10 with Firefox as my browser. I've been using Firefox for 20 years with no problems. My Windows recently did an update and now I have no audio output from Firefox. Audio works fine with every other application including Edge. I have followed all instructions given in Firefox help. Nothing has worked. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are experiencing no audio output from Firefox, there are several potential reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help you resolve the problem:
Check Volume Settings: First, ensure that the volume settings are not muted or turned down within Firefox. Click on the speaker icon in the Firefox tab or video player to adjust the volume level.
Check System Volume: Make sure your computer's system volume is not muted or set too low. Check the volume settings in your operating system (e.g., Windows or macOS) and adjust as needed.
Test Other Browsers: Verify if the issue is specific to Firefox or affects other browsers as well. Try playing audio on other browsers like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge to determine if the problem is isolated to Firefox.

Thanks for the reply Jimmy. I have checked all the settings in Firefox and the Windows audio application. This problem exists only in FIrefox. All other programs work just fine. Firefox worked fine until just this last weekend.
Another thing to do did you restart the computer after the update? Also before doing this as this will clear everything out. To do a clear cache/history to insure nothing is causing the problem also did you try Firefox in Private Mode Browser to verify Addon are not causing audio issues?
