Hi sboofi.

I am not sure what you mean - you have to be in the browser to be able to open tabs.

I mean open tabs in browser but don't open it instant in browser, they are like opening in background, so you can click on couple links and open browser later with this tabs already

I think I know what you mean...tab queing?

That is not yet a feature of this new version of Firefox for Android, but may follow in a future update.

I'm not sure this will be a future update, Github thread seems quite dead and the issue was changed to a mere "feature request".

https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/470

This is not a "feature request", this is something that was added long ago and that I'm guessing thousands of people use daily by default.

It completely changes my workflow on Android, it's a game changer. It is very disappointing, since it was one of those features that really gave Firefox an "edge" over other browsers.

Complete agreement with @skin-job, this is a critical feature. I knew it wasn't in the beta but was OK because it was in progress. When the non-beta version was available I tried it out and as soon as tab queuing wasn't there I reverted to 68.x.

I'm staying on 68 and can't recommend Firefox for Android until this is implemented because it makes Fx no better than Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, etc.

Firefox used to have an leg up with this feature, now? Not worth it.

This stinks! Please bring this feature back.

I absolutely agree. PLEASE bring back this feature. I dislike the new Firefox everytime it does not do this.

I have the problem of using tab queing until the recent update. Part of why I used it is that I have a lot of bookmark folders within folders that I have shared with my pc through sync. In order to look at a list of bookmarks in order I had to click a tree of commands that went from desktop bookmarks to bookmark menu to my specific bookmarks to a category of bookmarks, to then get to the list of bookmarks I wanted to look at. if I just went to one bookmark without tab queing, in order to get to the next bookmark on my list, I had to start the whole process again. On a pc I can keep a bookmark side menu open. On my tablet there is no such option. Every once in a while I would hit the back button and my specific bookmark folder would still be there, but there doesn't seem to be a way to make it do that all the time. At least with tab queing I could open multiple tabs before my bookmark menu disappeared. The collections feature doesn't seem to solve the problem either. I have collections. They are my bookmark folders. Please advise. If there is a way to keep my bookmark menu open at the folder I want when I switch back and forth I would welcome that too. Thank you
