Hello Mitchell Earl,
Assuming this means that you don't want to be asked if you're sure that you want to leave the page ; would you do this please :
Type in the address bar about:config and press Enter.
(ignore the warning)
Type in the search bar and look for the preference :
dom.disable_beforeunload and set its value to true.
Then close and restart Firefox.
If this is not what you are talking about : could you be a bit more specific, please ?
now it just leaves the page and goes to gmail login. It did work for about 5 minutes. Does not even ask anymore. Thank you for your help.

I'm still not sure what the problem is (or was) ?
I just answered this and it went away. Ouch. Ok when I open Mozilla and go to my gmail account and sign in, after a minute or two this box pops up with " leave the page or stay on the page " error. I click stay , it goes away for about 20 seconds. It comes again and no matter how many times I click stay it comes back. finally it just leaves the page and goes back to my gmail sign in page. Now it just closes the page and goes to sign in again. Over and over.
Must be pretty annoying.
