What config preferences would cause an addon's option button to not fire?
The Addon Context Search X is not working in my default profile, Firefox ver 34. Some of the option buttons won't fire but all other addons and links are clickable. Yet the addon works in a new profile I created for diagnosing the problem. Disabling all addons in the default hasn't resolved the issue. The problem may not be an addon but one of the config preferences, but I don't know which one. Which preferences in particular might be the cause of this behavior?

To the best of my knowledge, there shouldn't be any configuration option to disable an addon's button. Please try reinstalling the addon. If the issue continues, please contact the addon developer.
Your System Details list shows that you have quite a few (75) extensions installed, so it is quite possible that one of the other is causing this issue.
Did you try to disable all other extensions?
Hello skippdiddly, maybe not related but you have in your profile folder a User.js file.
The user.js file does not exist by default. If you create the file, forget it, if you have not create the file then delete the User.js file, to see if the problem goes away (some programs create and write in the file also).
thank you

Thanks for all the suggestions. I tried everything that was recommended. I was hoping I could find which setting or extension was causing the issue, but it may have been a combination of several. Anyway, the extension in question is working fine in the new profile and Firefox performance has increased considerably. Thanks again for the support.
Well, Here's Hoping. Good Luck.
