Lost my domain name and can't use old email address to change to new email address,...help
my email address was on a domain that has been taken over by another person / company. As a result, my email is not functioning and I cannot receive email on that address any longer. All emails fail to go through. How can I change my email address on my Mozilla account? Should I create a new Mozilla account and if so will I loose all the data on my existing account?

Specifically, which "Mozilla account"?
Generally, your email address is used as your Username for most, if not all Mozilla sub-domains, so you will need to create a new account for each sub-domain you are registered with that is using that old email address.
Now, if you are referring to a Firefox Account used for the Sync service, unlink all your devices that are using Sync and create a new Firefox Account. Then "link" all your devices to that new Firefox Account, using Setup Sync on each device. You shouldn't lose your data because when you reconnect to Sync using the new Firefox Account, your data will sync from your various devices to the Sync server all over again.
