For the last few weeks whenever i open Firefox it goes to the page i was on before i closed it last. I have a homepage set but it wont go to it when i start Firefox. Ive looked through the settings and tried resetting my computer but nothing seems to work. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me fix this.

Hello,

See this help article:

Or try go to about:config page, search for "browser.startup.homepage" change its value to "about:home"(default) or "about:blank"(blank page)

thank you for helping so fast. your suggestions didn't work but while i was on the "set homepage" section i found that i can reset Firefox to default and now it opens my homepage on start. Thank you very much i wouldn't have found it without your help

You can check in the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop if you had a user.js file with a line to set the browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once to true.
