Chosen solution

I found the answer myself. In Firefox, go to Tools, click Add-ons, click on Extensions, and click the Remove button to remove the following extensions:

Amazon shopping assistant by Spigot, ebay shopping assistant by spigot, Searchme, and Slick savings

I downloaded a free trial of Acdsee Image viewer and all this garbage came with it. Read about it by searching "How do I remove ebay shopping assistant?"

Hello hambone,

what kind of toolbar you have installed? You mean the favorite list under the link line? It would help us supporters if you could post a screenshot of your toolbar.

Do not hesitate to contact us further.

It's the navigation tool bar, and I should mention that I'm running mac os x. The Amazon and ebay icons are to the right of the download and home icons, and the same size. I can't remember how to take a screenshot. Thank you for writing.

Hello hambone,

at mac os x, you can make a screenshot via "Shift - Apple - 3". This key combination will make a screenshot. You can upload and post it here with bracket icon of the post box.

Do not hesitate to contact us further.

I used grab and saved the image, but apparently cannot upload a .tiff file here. I don't understand what Apple is in "Shift - Apple - 3". Maybe I can convert the file to .jpeg.
