I have Grease Monkey and User Styles installed as well as Missing e and xKit for Tumblr and they all reinstall every time I open Firefox. I have tried to uninstall all of them, but none of my extensions show in my add-ons folder and when I disable Grease Monkey and User Styles, they enable themselves again when I restart Firefox. My xKit and missing e. uninstall on their own and reinstall whenever I restart Firefox too, and nothing is working smoothly like it was a few days ago. I've had missing e., User Styles, Grease Monkey, and xKit for weeks and months and everything was fine until recently. My aunt also borrowed my laptop and installed Yahoo! Toolbar and I want to uninstall that too. How can I get my extensions to show up so I can uninstall everything?

It is possible that there is a problem with the file(s) that store the extensions registry.

Delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created when required.

See "Corrupt extension files":

If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.

If this hasn't helped then also try to delete the addons.sqlite file.

You can also check for problems with saving prefs.
