userChrome.css help

more options

Hi, I just discovered userChrome.css the other day after upgrading to firefox 9.0.1. I was previously using some no-longer-working extensions, and have transitioned most of what I was getting from those to userChrome.css. There is one remaining extension I am using, oldbar, which is a nearly trivial bit of javascript:

function oldbarStartup(event) {

 var urlbar = document.getElementById("urlbar");
 urlbar.setAttribute("autocompletepopup", "PopupAutoComplete");

} window.addEventListener("load", oldbarStartup, false);

I was wondering if this can also be accomplished in userChrome.css?

I have tried a few variations on

  1. urlbar { autocompletepopup: "PopupAutoComplete" !important; }

with no success.

thanks for any help, Greg

Chosen solution

No, you can't do that via userChrome.css. That oldbarStartup code change an attribute and not a style property.
