Firefox 7 takes about 50% CPU, hangs when openning multiple tabs, and Flash 10 never shows as installed after installing it.

Running Windows XP Pro SP3 on a Dell Precision M6300 with 4GB ram, and Intel Core 2 Duo CPU. I was running Firefox 6 with no problems, other than large memory footprint with 20+ tabs open. Downloaded Firefox 7, and now Firefox hangs when openning more than 1 or 2 tabs. Also, it says it wants Adobe Flash 10 or better. I have installed the latest Flash version, but it was getting recognised. I tried using a new profile with Firefox defaults, but that didn't make any difference.

I am done with Firefox. The memory overuse, crash, and "hang" problems have been consistent since FF 5. They eventually work it out but it takes too long.

The most hilarious part was that I wanted to create an account to log in for firefox help and chat, and to get better information from firefox support but it originally bumped me to a new firefox tab, which, of course, wouldn't load.

Goodbye FF, hello Chrome.
