How can i make firefox disguise my passwords in yahoo and gmail etc with little black dots? At the moment when i enter my password, it is visible for all to see.

When i type in my password into Yahoo o Gmail, it is visible for all to read. Before i updated to Firefox 3.6.8 when i entered my password the letters were disguised as little black dots, but now it is visible for all to see.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

Perfect, problem solved. one of the extensions was causing the problem.
