The same thing happens to me trying to log in to Google Groups using Firefox. It's a new problem. Two days ago it was working fine.

Same problem...it eventually assumes I am an automated bot and locks me out with a captcha

Same problem here. Works fine with Chrome. Used to work fine a few days ago.

Only Google groups is affected, and only when you try to go to a specific group, dashboard opens fine

Works fine with Internet Explorer

Endlessly tries to redirect but can't get into google group. This is a problem that has just popped up two days ago. I also can access fine using Internet Explorer.

Amazing stuff, Firefox is really going down. First Hotmail is not working, now Google Groups.

I wouldn't want to change to Chrome but seriously, soon there's no other way.

I have the same problem - only with Firefox 3.6.3 (Linux Ubuntu 10.04 and Windows XP). Firefox endlessly tries to redirect, but fails. It works fine with IE and Windows.

For a short time (some days ago) Google Calendar was also affected, now only Google Groups, but not the Groups dashboard.

This is avery serious problem and I hope it will be fixed soon.

Same problem here, but Chrome doesn't work for me either. Safari (v4) does work.

Yup. Same here. Can't access my google groups in Firefox. It endlessly tries to re-direct but to no avail. Wasn't a problem last week.

This problem is most likely with Google's website and there is nothing we can do here on the Firefox end to fix this problem. I would try this link to groups Google Groups

I think we can all get to the Google Groups page that shows which groups you belong to, but clicking on a group goes into some sort of infinite loop with redirect after redirect. I use NoScript and I disabled google.com when I was in the redirect storm, but I still kept getting redirects. It was interesting to see the links change over and over, but still didn't seem to have an end to them.

Just removing the groups.google.com cookies, as suggested by cor-el, worked fine to resolve this problem.
