Why when have to make a payment and verify with bank when I come back to firefox it refreshes and I have to start payment again. It's chicken and egg and so frustrating. How can I stop this? Never used to happen. I need to find another browser as this isn't fit for purpose. Could someone please help

If you open that bank page in the same tab and use the Back button then best is to open such a page in a new tab and close this tab once you are done.

It's better to create a new tab (Ctrl+T) and leave the bank tab open.

But it's not just when doing this. Often when go back to a tab it refreshes but not always. I don't know what I am doing different each time. If I did this might not be an issue

Online banking will often have a short timeout of inactivity before you get logged out.

I'm just so tired of the browser. Nothing seems to work. It didn't use to do this. I need to find another browser with address bar at bottom. Any recommendations please?

Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile.
