while i was doing something else, a new version of firefox asked to be installed. I closed the window but somehow it continued. I have a new version but all my bookmarks and bookmark tools etc are lost. I tried to follow the instructions from help, but it seems like the bookmarks have been deleted there is nothing in them. Are they stored anywhere in the computer and if so, how can I import them?

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar. How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.
