Yahoo IMAP account fails to load INBOX, error message as follows:

The current operation on "inbox" did not succeed. The mail server for account [email protected] responded:

|CLIENTBUG| SELECT Command is not valid in this state.

• I have already deleted and re-added the account several times. Prior to re-adding it this last time, The error message read exactly the same except instead of "client bug' it just said " Command is not valid in the state"

• everything was working fine from the same computer and the same account for years. • I have already checked and triple checked all settings, and even used the manual configuration settings to no avail. • This problem appeared about a week or two ago

If you're lucky, things will start working again eventually at some point. In any case, complain to Yahoo.
