Greetings,

I work at a University's Department, and we get tons of fowarded emails from other departments that we need to reply to the original sender, sometimes with a template or even an automated response.

When selecting Reply, to a fowarded email it always assumes the other department's adress, instead of the original sender.

Example:

A student asks how much the tuition is. Sends the message to the cafeteria's email. They foward it to us. We select "Reply", and we always have to go and find the student's email, do a "copy paste", and delete the cafeteria's email.

I have searched and searched for a way to automatically select the original sender's email address (the student in the example), but nothing comes up...

Is there a way to reconfiguere this when needed? Is there an add-on that works?

Thank you so much for your help.

I don't know a way to have your replies addressed to the original sender, but it might work if the 'other department', in this case the cafeteria, used the Mail Redirect add-on, or something similar.
