A little while ago, whenever I would open a new Tab in firefox, a new blank window would also open. I couldn't find any info on how to stop this, so I did a reset on firefox, with the assurance that all my old bookmarks and data would be saved. None of it was saved. So all my settings - like passwords being entered automatically (no computer security password was prompted, which is usually what I enter to have my passwords automatically entered). No bookmarks, history or homepage. I know how to find the 'Old Firefox Data' folder, but how do I get all that info back into the new firefox?

And now on the newly reset version of firefox, my history is not being saved, when I click on the star to bookmark a page it won't work- neither does the small search bar at the top. The new tab won't open to my homepage, even though the settings say it should. In short, the refreshed version is even worse than the old one. Becoming quite annoyed by it all now....
