I have lost the connection to Thunderbird on my desktop. The Thunderbird icon that I used to access Thunderbird no longer works.

When I try to access my email using the Thunderbird icon, a dialog box appears saying the shortcut no longer works. I don't know how to reconnect with Thunderbird without the icon.

Right click on shortcut icon on desktop and select 'Properties'. On 'shortcut' tab it should say this: note the speach quotes should be included

If running 32 bit: Target : "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" Start in : "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird" Run: Normal Window

If running 64 bit: Target : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" Start in : "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird" Run: Normal Window

If modifying the info does not help. You could delete the old shortcut and create another. Start > All Programs > right click on 'Mozilla Thunderbird' select: 'Create Shortcut' It will probably ask to create it on the desktop, say yes.
